Summer Camp project

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new project to share for Echo Park using the Carta Bella Summer Camp collection.  For this project I used the 3D Tent Box cut file from Lori Whitlock.  It was the perfect cut file for this collection.

3D projects are so fun to make!  I especially love to use the Carta Bella collections because the papers are so thick.  They make these projects very sturdy.  I took out my sharp scissors and fussy cut 3 banners from the pattern papers.  I added 2 to the trees in the back and one on the tent.

The tent itself was so cute I just added a few stickers and ephemera to embellish it.

I really like the finished product.  I will be finding a place for this little project in my camper!

You are beautiful

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new project for Echo Park using the Carta Bella Flora No.3 collection and a cut file from Cut To You.  I love the thickness and texture of the Carta Bella papers, it works so well when backing up a cut file.

The beautiful sot colors in this collection compliment each other really well.  I love the touch of teal.  This photo of my daughter is actually a Halloween photo, she was dressed up as a ballerina.  The flower in her hair was bright pink so I softened the photo to make it match my papers.

I stitched around my heart a few times with my sewing machine.  I made them a little messy on purpose, for some reason I like it better that way!

I wanted to keep this layout pretty simple.  I didn't want to hide the pretty papers in my cut file.  I just added a few pieces of ephemera and chipboard.

I tend to add a lot of stuff on my layouts, but once in a while when I make one with minimal embellishments, I really like how it turns out!

Joyful

Hey everyone, we're celebrating Christmas in July at Pretty Little Studio the past few weeks and it makes me so happy! I love everything about Christmas!

This wreath paper is so very beautiful it didn't need much else. I just added a few clusters of embellishments on each side.

I also fussy cut some little flowers from another pattern paper. I love these colors!

So Sweet & Sassy

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Simple Stories using the  Kate & Ash collection.  I started off this layout by cutting out some banners from the Simple Stories cut files in the silhouette store.  I used the Sweet Banner and the Love Banners.

After my banners were cut, I stitched around each one with my sewing machine using black thread.  I wanted to add pops of black since m y photo was black & white.

My favorite thing about this layout is the title and sweet banner.  As soon as I saw the word Sassy in the foam stickers pack, I knew this was the photo I had to use!

I added a lot of little embellishment clusters on this layout.  Lots of word stickers and enamel dots (these are my fave!!)

I really enjoyed working with this collection.  The colors and patterns are so much fun!

Mad Tea Party

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new  project for Echo Park using the Alice in Wonderland collection.  I had an instant plan on what I wanted to do with this collection!

I had these photos of my kids on the Mad Tea Party ride at Disney, they had so much fun on this ride.  We were spinning so fast I was afraid they would fly out!

I used an Echo Park cut file from the Silhouette store.  It was such a fun file and perfect for this collection!

I added the photos and some embellishments inside the cups so it would kinda recreate the ride at Disney.

I added a layer of vellum on top of the background and put in some sequins behind it.  It really created a fun look.

Sail Away

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Echo Park using the By the Sea collection from Carta Bella.  I combined 2 boat cut files to create this fun layout.  I'll admit, I don't very often use large images as my background but sometimes it's fun to try something different.  I really like the finished layout!

I added some twine at a few spots in my layout, I felt like every boat needs some rope right?  It really made a big difference in the look of my layout.

That little flag at the top of the mast is so cute.  Just a simple piece of ephemera with a sticker added to it.  It can really be that simple sometimes!

To finish off the layout, I added a few strips to the edge with a few embellishments and more twine.

Layouts don't always have to be complicated and take a long time to make.  This one was really quick and turned out super cute!

Let's Celebrate

Hey everyone, we've been celebrating red, white and blue at Pretty Little Studio these past 2 weeks. Even though I am Canadian, I was still able to incorporate these colors in my Canada Day layout!

I used the Glitter and Ice collection and a title cut file to create this festive layout. Who would ever know that this is a Christmas collection!

The background paper kinda reminded me of fireworks, perfect for my Canada Day layout!

Rainbow

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Simple Stories using the Color Vibe Collection.  These color vibes collections come in a variety of different packs.  I decided to use the pack of lights for my layout.

I started off my layout by cutting out a cut file from COAPA.  I knew I wanted to do a rainbow theme with the pretty colors in these collections.  I backed the cut file with the dots side of the papers and stitched with matching floss.

I used this sweet photo of my daughter walking on the beach.  The photo really went well with my quote.  It's so important to enjoy the little things in life.

The color vibes collection also has all of these gorgeous alphas!  They come in all the colors!!

Using this collection was a fun little challenge for me.  I'm usually pretty heavy on embellishments but this layout really didn't need much else.
