Red flairs are my favorite. This one was perfect for my LO!
Hey there, I'm back today with a new LO for JustNick. This week were putting the focus on "leaves". Fall is my favorite season to take photos and I just recently had a great photo shoot with my daughter so I was super excited to do this LO!
I cut out a bunch of leaves from the "Leaves 2" and the "Sweater Weather" files and arranged them to form a wreath. I used the Hello Fall collection from Carta Bella and flair from A Flair For Buttons. I really like how it turned out!
Here's a close up of the leaves:

I used the Crate Paper Cute Girl collection.
Look how little she was! I can't believe it has been 10 years since I took that photo. Time goes by way too fast.

Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a new LO. Now I know what you're thinking, is this girl still scrapbooking summer photos? Yes, yes I am! I am not even close to being ready to let summer go yet! It's been such a beautiful September here in NB Canada I can't even think of fall yet! This photo is actually from a few years ago. My daughter loves the water and the beach so much. I've always called her a mermaid.
I used the Pink Paislee Summer Lights collection, free cut file from Paper Issues, and flair from the shop.
Hey everyone, Michelle Gallant here today with a new LO. I wanted to get a little creative for background week so I decided to use 2 different backgrounds on my LO! The first one I used was the Bamboo background. I placed it sideways on my LO and backed it with red paper to create a brick affect like on my photos. I then added the Beautiful Bouquet cut file to add some femininity to my LO.
Make sure to follow us on Instagram and Facebook. New files are added to the store weekly!
Hey everyone, I'm back today with a new LO to share with you. It's funny how you can sometimes start a LO with a plan and end up going completely off course. This was suppose to be a boy LO and it ended up being the most girly LO ever! LOL
I used the Radiate cut file, the new Carousel collection from Maggie Holmes and flair from A Flair for Buttons.
I am so lucky to have such a photogenic daughter. (I stole this photo from her phone) Hehehe
Hey everyone i'm back today with a new fall LO to share. Fall is my favorite time of year for many reasons. One of those reasons is the beautiful colors and photo opportunities! I got this photo of my daughter last year during a fun little photo shoot we did. It's one of my favorite photos!
For my LO I used the and cut files. After I backed them up with pattern paper I wasn't really sure how I was going to use them on my LO so I just kinda threw them on and liked where they landed! lol
This was a really fun and easy LO to make. Here's a close up at the cut files:

Hey everyone, I'm back today with a new LO! As summer is coming to an end, it almost makes me sad to share this summer LO. How does it go by so fast? I had a lot of fun with this LO. Pretty papers, cut files, gelatos and my favorite thing...flair buttons!
I often use flair buttons as flower centers. They're just so perfect there!
Hey everyone, I'm back today with a new LO. I know all you mom's with boys will understand me when I say how happy I am when I can get my son to give a real smile to the camera. Especially when they approach the teen years right?
Let's talk about cut files and how simple they can be to use. All I did for this LO is cut out my file and backed it with one piece of pattern paper. That's it! It doesn't always have to be time consuming and the effect is beautiful!
See how easy that looks? Here's a closer look.
I dare you to try this technique. It's so simple, you won't regret it!
Hey everyone, I'm back today sharing a fun new LO for A Flair For Buttons. Anyone who has a teenage girl understand the love of emojis right? My daughter loves them. She has clothing, pillows, pj's...all kinds of emoji things. These emoji flair buttons were a must have for me!!

Hey everyone, I'm back today with a new LO to share with you. I have to admit these photos of my daughter are some of my favorites! This kid is just so full of life, she absolutely loves trying new things. She's only about 6 years old on those photos and it was her first time fishing. The look on her face is priceless!
The cut file I used is the Lotus Ring and it is absolutely gorgeous! Here are a few close ups!
Hey everyone, I'm back today with a new LO for JustNick. I used the brand new Reflex cut file and I went totally out of my comfort zone and used black cardstock! Gasp! I always use white! LOL When I saw this cut file I was immediately inspired. To me it looked like sound waves. I had these fun photos of my daughter playing DJ hero on the wii. It was perfect with this cut file!
The cut file is so fabulous I hardly needed to do anything else to my LO. I just added a few embellishment and I was done! Here's a closer look!

I loved these Canadian flair buttons and I knew I wanted to do a Canada Day LO with this photo from last summer. I used Pink Paislee Sweet Freedom. I love how it turned out!

Hey everyone, I'm so happy to share my first DT LO for JustNick! I am so very happy to have been chosen to be a part of this team filled with such talented ladies! As I was looking through the store to figure out what file I wanted to use for my first project, I was actually thinking of doing a boy LO but as soon as I saw the Delicate Butterflies my whole planned changed! I knew I had to use it!
I'm not normally a butterfly and flowers type person but something about this cut file just called out to me. I knew I had that photo of my daughter holding the butterfly and it was just perfect for this file.
Here's a close up so you can see how delicate and pretty this file is!
Hey everyone! I'm back today with a new summer inspired LO! My favorite thing about summer (other than the weather), is all the photo opportunities! We are always out doing something fun and of course I always have my camera handy just in case!
This photo was just a quick snapshot of my daughter enjoying the water on the first hot summer day last year. She is always up for anything!
I actually picked out the flair I wanted to use before I picked out anything else for this LO so the whole LO is based on those. Then I added some gelatos, a free cut file from Paper Issues and some new Echo Park. The whole LO came together very fast!
Hey everyone, it's new issue day at Paper Issues. This month it's called Mom-o-grams. Some suggested ideas are: create an altered paper project, use letters in a fun way, add a monogram, anything about Mother’s Day or grandmothers. I used some letters to create the BFF background. I just cut them out on my cardstock and backed it with a colorful pattern paper! I used the Bella Blvd/Illustrated Faith You Are Loved collection.
You can see more ideas for this issue on the Paper Issues blog and in the Friends and Fans Facebook group!

This gorgeous chevron paper was calling my name as soon as I saw it so I created my LO around it. I'm definitely an embellishment girl. American Crafts always has a lot of embellishments with their collections. It makes is so easy to create a fast LO.
Check out the Paper Issues blog to see what the rest of the team created. You can still get this collection in the Paper Issues store. You can also get 20% off your whole order with the code michelle.
Hey everyone! I was so excited to be asked to guest over at JustNick this month. I adore using cut files! Whenever I'm struggling to get a LO started I just scroll through my file downloads and I always find inspiration there.
My first project was made using the spirograph cut file. To make it easier on myself, I also cut all the negative spaces on my cameo with pattern paper. Then I just had to glue them in place. This LO really didn't need much after that, just a few embellishments and a title.
I absolutely love the colors in this Pink Paislee/Paige Taylor Evans Take Me Away collection!
For my next LO I wanted to use a fun and bright design to go with these selfies of my daughter. One of the biggest perks of having a teen girl is stealing all the selfies she takes! lol I went with the scallop background file.
Seriously though, how fun is this cut file? It's going to be ones of those cut files I use over and over!
This cut file is free for the month of February. Just use the code SCALLOPFREE at checkout!
