Witch hat and spell book

Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a new project for Echo Park using the Witches and Wizards collection.  This collection has a definite Halloween feel to it so I decided to make some decorations.

I went looking into the Silhouette store and found this cute little spell book box.  The dark red paper was the perfect look for an old spell book!  I haven't decided what I'm going to put inside yet.  Maybe I'll hide some treats and I won't tell the kids!  hehehe

I then found this witch hat and I knew I had to make it too!  It was the perfect addition to create this cute set!

I embellished both pieces with some element stickers from the collection.  They turned out really cute!  Can't wait to display them at Halloween!

Adventures fill your soul

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Simple Stories using the Simple Vintage Great Escape collection.  We spend a lot of time outdoors in the summer so I was really happy to see this nature themed collection!   The colors can be used for any type of layout.

I cut some random strips of paper to create a starburst effect for the background of my layout.  I added a simple line of stitching in each of them and lifted the sides a bit to add some dimension.

I used a photo of my son from a camping trip a few years back.  I embellished the layout with some ephemera, stickers and brads.

The soft neutral colors of this collection make it very easy to use,  It matches with everything!

Paper Schoolhouse and Bus

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new project for Echo Park using the Carta Bella School Days collection.  I was browsing the Silhouette store and came upon this schoolhouse cut file by Lori Whitlock.  It was just perfect for this collection!

I can't believe how cute this paper looks as the roof of my schoolhouse!  Carta Bella paper is so thick, it's perfect for these types of projects!  This little schoolhouse is very solid!

After I was done the schoolhouse I wanted to add a little something else to it. I found this little schoolbus cut file, also from Lori Whitlock.  It was the perfect finishing touch!

The stickers of the school children were perfect to add in my little bus.  It turned out sooo sute!

I'm sure I can find a teacher who would love to have this in her classroom!

Awesome Boy

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Simple Stories using the Bro and Co collection.  I think this may be my favorite release so far this year.  I love a good boy collection and this one doesn't disappoint!

The stripes on the So Rad paper kinda looked like my son's shirt.  So I cut them out and distressed the edges to mimic his shirt.  I then fussy cut a lot of stars from the It's All Good paper and scattered them across the layout.

I then just added a few stickers and enamel dots to finish.  I really love all the dimension and texture the distressing and stars added.

I can't wait to create with this gorgeous collection again!
