Life is Good

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Pretty Little Studio using the Woodland collection. What can I say about this collections, pretty colors, flowers and butterflies....yes please! It's so very pretty!

I knew I wanted to use these pretty frames on my layout as soon as I saw them. But I only realized after my layout was done that I actually didn't use any pattern paper at all! The whole layout is just embellishments!

It's so easy to make a layout when there are so many beautiful embellishments available. I just added a bit of stitching and thread to finish it!

Adventure Awaits

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Echo Park using the new Scenic Route collection.  Although this is a travel themed collection, I instantly knew I wanted to use it for my son's grad photos.  I had these awesome photos of my son sitting on his car looking at a map, it was just perfect for this collection!

I kept the design of my layout pretty simple.  I just added layers of papers and embellishments.

I really loved all the quotes and sayings in this collection.  I always like to add a lot on my layouts.

Just a few little pennants and enamel dots to finish it up!

I don't very often use dark backgrounds but I love the dramatic effect it created for this layout!

Beach Days

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Simple Stories using the Simple Vintage Coastal collection.  I'll admit, I have a thing for beach themed collections.  But this one is more than pretty, the corals and teals are sooo very pretty.  I couldn't wait to work with this one!

I loved the grungy map on the back of the 4x4 elements paper but I was afraid it would be too busy if I used the whole paper.  I decided to use half and white cardstock for the other half.

By keeping half the layout white, it gave me a place to add lots of embellishments and phrase stickers. I always like to add lots of layers.

Look how pretty these flowers are!  And the little brads are always the perfect finishing touch!

I love hoe these chipboard phrases make such a big impact !

Sweet Smile

Hey everyone, I'm here today sharing a new layout for Cut To You using a Kit To You file and the Bloom Street collection from Pink Paislee/Paige Evans. This fun geometric design is perfect for boy layouts, but somehow I ended up doing a very girly layout!

I used the negative pieces of the cut file to create a background for my layout. After I added all the pieces, I stitched the layout with my sewing machine. It created a real fun effect.

With a beautiful background like this there's no need for a lot of embellishment. Just a few simple pieces and I was done!

Heart you

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Pretty Little Studio using the Shine Bright collection. I've always had a weakness for a collection that has a lot of blue. This one is so pretty with all the different shades of blue with touches of pink and green.

I used a cut file from Cut to You. I backed the hearts with pattern paper and stitched around the circle. The cut file fit perfectly in the center of this paper!

I added a small amount of embellishments because I already had a busy background. It turned out pretty sweet! I love those little tassels!

Fresh Summer Lemondade

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Echo Park using the Carta Bella Summer Market collection.  What says summer more than  fresh lemonade?  As soon as I saw this collection I knew I wanted to make a lemonade themed layout.

I had these fun photos of my daughter in a little lemonade stand and they were perfect for this.

I cut out a bunch of lemons from the pattern paper and used them as embellishments on my layout.

I layered some of the stickers to create my title.

I then just added a few other stickers, some ephemera and of course some enamel dots!

Vacay Mode

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new  project to share for Echo Park using the Dive Into Summer collection.  I couldn't wait to get my hands on all the new summer collections.  There's just something special about the colors and patterns in summer collections isn't there?  I also used a fun cut file from Cut To You.

This striped paper could not have been more perfect for my photos.  I love it when you find a perfect match like this!

I layered some embellishments to create a fun cluster.  Look at that ice cream cart!!!

Enamel dots have always been one of my favorite embellishments.  They are perfect when you need to add just a bit more.

Finished off my layout with a frame, stitching and some loose threads.
