Some layouts for The Wild Hare Kits

Hey everyone, I'm here again today sharing another 2 layouts  for The Wild Hare Kits
using my November kit!

Last week I talked about fussy cutting.  This week I'm taking about stitching.  Last year I bought myself a sewing machine.  It was a total game changer for me.  I used to oooh and ahhh over layouts with stitching.  I loved the look but didn't like how time consuming it is to hand stitch.  Now I'm using my machine on almost all of my layouts and I love the effect it creates.

For this first layout, I used a cut file from The Cut Shoppe.  I backed all the hearts with 2 different pattern papers in a random sequence.  Of course I had to sneak in a few more of those fussy cut flowers too!

I love being able to create longer titles by using little alphas and one big word.

To finish it off, I just added a simple stitch around the heart and scattered a few embellishments and sequins.

For my last layout, I really wanted to use this 3x4 card with these photos.  I added them across my page and worked from there by adding layers.

Then I went a little crazy with my stitching. LOL  I added some around my card and pattern papers.

Finally I added some multi colored thread on this cute little wood piece.  Isn't it the cutest?

I hope you've enjoyed my projects as much as I've enjoyed being a guest here this month!

Gift Card Mini Album

Hey everyone, I'm here today sharing a new project for Pebbles using the Merry Little Christmas collection. I've always wanted to do a mini album for gift cards and this collection was perfect for it. I used a cut file from Lori Whitlock. I started it off by cutting the base out of white AC cardstock. That way I knew that anything I added would match. I went with a bright red paper for the cover and these gorgeous gold phrase thickers!

I added one piece of ephemera to each page of the album. I wanted to make sure it wasn't too thick and wouldn't stay closed.

I also added a strip of washi on top of each page. I love how washi is so easy to use!

I love how the gift cards fit perfectly in the little pockets.

I also added some floral paper on the inside covers, just to make it more colorful!

This little album will hold 6 gift cards. How fun is that?? I haven't decided who I'm giving it to yet. :)

Vacay Fun

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Pretty Little Studio using the Chasing the Sun collection. I don't know about all of you but I never get tired of scrapping summer photos.

I started by adding some mixed media to my layout to match each of the little frames. I then added some die cut flowers and stickers to each frame.

I love the cute and colorful alphas in this collection. They really pop against the white cardstock!

I'm a guest at Wild Hare Kits!

Hey everyone, I'm so happy to be a guest at Wild Hare Kits this month!  I have to be honest, when I opened up my kit I actually gasped.  It could not have been more perfect for me!  Floral papers, little embellishments and phrase thickers!  OMG!  I couldn't wait to get started.

I have 2 layouts to share today.  One of my all time favorite things to do is fussy cut.  I know it's not for everyone, but I find it so relaxing.  I just turn on Netflix to a good show and cut the night away.

I fussy cut about half of a 12x12 paper for this layout.  I mean really, how could I not fussy cut those gorgeous flowers?

I layered the flowers behind my photo.  The colors of the flowers and the title matched perfectly with my photo.

I also added some flowers on the left edge of my layout.  I then finished my layout by added a few more embellishments and some sequins.

For my next layout I used a circle punch to punch out some of these little lemons.  I did have to fussy cut some because I didn't have the right size of punch for all of them.  I then scattered them randomly on my layout and stuck them down.  I always find this works best when you don't overthink on placement.

I really wanted this title for this sweet photo of my girl.  Sometimes I find it hard to fit a long title on my layouts but these little alphas were perfect!

I really wanted the focus of this layout to be the photo and the title so I didn't add much else to it.  Just a little sprinkle of sequins and it was done.

I'll be back later this month with more projects!

Right Now

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for A Flair For Buttons using the Paige Evans/Pink Paislee Truly Grateful collection.  A few weeks ago I went to a crop and was challenged to do a monochromatic layout.  I decided to go with pink!

After I added all the pink to my layout, I felt like it needed to black to make my photo pop.  These black flair buttons with the quotes are my favorites!!

Snow Much Fun

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Pretty Little Studio using the Winter Joy collection and a cut file from Cut To You. I've had this sweet photo of my boy cleaning my driveway for years. I could never find the right paper to use for it. The Winter Joy collection has so many pretty shades of blue it was perfect for it!

I backed the cut file with a variety of papers and then stitched some of the letters with blue thread.

I then added lots of snowflakes, a title and a few little word stickers.

Christmas Canvas

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new project to share for Pebbles using the Merry Little Christmas collection. As I was walking through my local dollar store the other day, I came across these 12x12 canvases and thought how perfect for a paper project!

This was such a fun and simple project to make. I used beautiful papers from this collection with a cut file from Lori Whitlock. Look how cute that truck is with the hearts paper!

I used some 3D squares to pop up a few of the embellishments to add some more dimension.

This was really a quick project but I love how it turned out. I can't wait to display it in my house!
