Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Pretty Little Studio using the Indian Summer collection. There's just something pretty fantastic about a bold striped paper isn't there? I knew I wanted to use this as a background as soon as I saw it!
To start off I added a row of stitching to each stripe with my sewing machine. I may have a slight obsession with my sewing machine. lol
I then clustered some flowers and phrase stickers on each color of stripe. I then finished it off with some pops of black!

Birthday pinwheels
Hey everyone, I'm here today with a fun new project to share for Pebbles using the Happy Cake Day collection. Both my kids have winter birthdays so I decided to make a cute little centerpiece.
I made 3 simple pinwheels using papers from the 6x8 pad and glued them to paper straws. I added a puffy sticker to each center.
I then added a few tags and pennants to make it a little more fun.
I finished it off by adding it to a small glass bottle with some string and little tags. It turned out so cute!

Supplies used:
Pebbles - Happy Cake Day Collection - Puffy Stickers

Hello Summer
Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Simple Stories with the Best Year Ever collection. If you haven't seen this collection yet it's absolutely fabulous! It practically covers all the seasons and holidays. It has to be the most versatile collection I've ever seen!
I decided to focus on the summer elements from the collection. I just pulled out everything that felt like summer and went from there.
I started by cutting out a big heart from pattern paper. I then added machine stitching on each strip. For the outside of the heart I hand stitch using multi colored thread.
I layered some ephemera in a few spots. The florals are so pretty!
I don't very often journal on my layouts so one of my favorite embellishments is word and phrase stickers. I always try to add a few. I then finished off the layout with a few enamel dots.
Thanks for stopping by!
Supplies used:
January 12x12 paper
June 12x12 paper
Combo stickers
6x12 chipboard
Bits & Pieces
Foam stickers
Decorative brads
Enamel dots

Born to be a dreamer
Hey everyone, I'm here today sharing a new layout for Cut To You using a Kit To You cut file and the Horizon collection from Pink Paislee/Paige Evans! This cut file was so much fun to work with, I mean who doesn't love rainbows right?
I added a lot of hand stitching to this cut file. I used coordinating colors on the rainbow and multi colored thread on the clouds.
Of course I had to use yellow thread on the sunshine. This is such a pretty cut file, I might have to use it again!

Spring Wagon
Hey everyone, I'm here today sharing a new project for Echo Park
with the I Love Spring collection.
I don't know about all of you but when I think of spring the first thing that comes to mind is flowers, so I knew I wanted to make my project based on that. I found this cute cut file in the silhouette store and it was just what I had in mind.
One of my favorite things about this collection was the yellow striped paper. It turned out so cute for the wagon and the little bees on the backside were such a cute touch!
There are a lot of pretty colors and patterns in this collection. Just perfect for flowers!

Our Story
Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new project to share for Pebbles using the new Lovely Moments collection. My daughter just celebrated her one year anniversary with her boyfriend. They are so cute and so in love. I made this little sign for her!
This was actually a cheap little welcome sign I got at the dollar store. I started by covering it with paper. I also had these cute little clothespin in my stash, I have no idea where they came from but they were perfect for hanging the little polaroid prints.
I covered the polaroid photos with pattern paper from this collection and added a little word strip on each.
I layered some ephemera and popped up some flower stickers on the sign itself.
It turned out pretty cute and it was a pretty simple project!

Beautiful
Hey everyone, I'm here today sharing a new layout for Pretty Little Studio using the Tales & Dreams collection and a cut file from Cut To You. This is one of my favorite PLS collections ever. I'm down to my last bits. I will have to order more!
I backed up the file using a variety of pattern papers focusing on the blues and pinks.
I then stitched the strips of hearts with my sewing machine. All it needed to finish was a few little bits and pieces.

Hey everyone, I'm here today with my first post as a design team member for Simple Stories! Yay! I'm so very happy to be here! I was given the Going Places collection to work with this week. Although I don't travel much, I have a soft spot for travel collection. They are always so fun to work with.
I had a plan for this layout but then my Silhouette Cameo died so I had to improvise. lol It just goes to show how easy this collection was to work with. I still managed to create my layout in about 45 minutes.

I love to layer embellishments on my layouts. Especially ephemera, you can never have too much right? The touches of red in this collection were perfect for my photo.
I often pop up embellishments or stickers on my layouts. I like the dimension it adds and it makes layering easier.
