DIY Autumn Wreath

Hey everyone, I'm back today sharing a new project for Pebbles using the This Is Family collection. This is one of my favorite Pebbles collection ever. The colors are absolutely gorgeous. When I saw the mustard yellow paper, I immediately thought of sunflowers. I found a beautiful sunflower cut file in the silhouette store. I started off my project by cutting out 3 of them.

I wasn't quite sure what to do with them after they were cut out, but then I saw this wooden hoop I had in my scraproom and I knew I had to make a wreath. I cut out some leaves and twigs from the Silhouette store, The Cut Shoppe, and JustNick studio. I didn't really have a plan, I just cut out a whole bunch and started sticking them to my wreath.

I really love all the layers and dimension it created. I even curled the sunflower petals a little bit to add some extra.

I finished it by added a greeting from the phrase thickers. This was a fun project to make. I can't wait for fall to display this in my house.

Happy Summer Days

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share using the new Chasing the Sun collection! I am Absolutely in love with the colors of this collection! They just scream summer!

I had these photos of my daughter and I couldn't find a collection with the right shade of blue until this collection. It's perfect!

I kept the design of this layout pretty simple, I just added a few layers, embellishments and stitching. I wanted the focus to be on those sweet photos.

Cool in the Pool

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share using the Cool In The Pool cut file and the Poolside collection from Fancy Pants Designs.  This was such a fun cut file to use.  I love files with big words.  No need to think of a title for your layout! lol

The colors and embellishments of this collection were perfect for this layout.  This photo of my son cracks me up! Cannonball!!!

These types of cut files are such an easy way to make a big impact on a layout!

DIY Paper Birdhouses

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a fun new project for Pebbles using the beautiful This is Family collection and some cut files from the silhouette store.

I wanted to make something different with this collection. When I saw the birdhouse cut files I knew this collection would be perfect for them.

I tried to choose more neutral patterns for 2 of them because I didn't want it to be too busy. I think this pink one is my favorite. I like how the stripes are vertical on the front and back, and horizontal on the sides.

I wanted one of them to have a fun pattern. I absolutely love florals so I choose this beautiful multi colored paper for this one.

The copper thickers were the perfect accent to add to these birdhouses. I really like how they turned out. And they were so easy to make!

Little Mermaid

Hey everyone, I'm here today sharing a new layout using the Bohemian Dreams collection and a cut file from Paige Evans. I really loved the alpha pack in this collection so I decided to make them the focus of my layout by creating a big circular title.

I stitched around the cut file to add some color, then I just added my alphas over it.

It created a cool effect. I love the bright alphas on the white cardstock.

To finish it off I just added a few die cuts and splatters.

Beach Bum

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for The Cut Shoppe using the Beach Bum cut file and the Out and About collection from Pinkfresh Studio.

I wanted this layout to have a bold and bright title to match my daughter's sweatshirt.  My favorite way to create a title is with a cut file.  No need to think of a clever title, just pick one from from the store!  lol

All I did to this file was back the hollow letters with pattern paper.  Cut files don't need to be complicated, sometimes just using them as they are is all you need!
