Best Day Ever

Hey everyone, I'm back today with a new LO to share using the Ain't Life Grand collection.  The idea behind this LO was pretty simple.  I knew I wanted to use this collection because the colors were so perfect for my photo.  I just used a triangle punch to create a fun background and added some orange stitching through them. 

Then I just needed to add a few embellishments to finish it up.

I absolutely love how this collection is perfect for boy photos...even teenagers!

Summer Fun

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share.  A few weeks ago I talked about how I love doing summer LO's because there are so many products to choose from.  On this LO I used 2 summer themed flair buttons.  They went perfectly with the Hello Summer collection from Simple Stories!

Word flairs are my absolute favorite!

Perfect Day

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share using the Dream Big collection and a cut file from Paige Evans.   When I cut out this file I had just planned on using it as is, but when I started putting some of these beautiful papers behind it I just had to use them!

I love that a lot of the collections have these little word stickers!  They are so versatile.

Be Happy

Hey everyone, I'm back today sharing the LO's I made with the Be Happy kit at Papers & Beyond.  Of all the past kits in the store, this one is my favorite.  It was so easy to work with!  It features products from the All the Good Things collection from Vicki Boutin and Good Vibes from Crate Paper.  The colors and patterns are absolutely gorgeous.

Life is good:
I knew as soon as I saw this blue paper I had to scrapbook this photo of my daughter with the blue wig! Isn't it perfect? I used a cut file from Paper Issues and just added it to the back like a doily. I then created a vertical line of embellishments going down my page.

Sweet Weekend:
When I got my kit, I absolutely loved this piece of paper that had stripes of all colors on it. I knew I had to use it in some kind of fun way. These paper chevrons are really easy to make. You can find lots of videos with instructions on YouTube.

The Be Happy kit has so many color schemes in it. It's so versatile you can use it on any type of LO. I used a cut file from JustNick Studio to add a fun background to my LO. I absolutely love these cork pieces in this kit!

Beach Hair

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share for A Flair for Buttons.  Summer LO's are always the most fun to make right?  I get so many photos during the summer.  There also seems to be a lot of summer themed products out there including flair buttons.  Sooo much to choose from in the store!

For this LO I used the Hello Sunshine collection from Cocoa Vanilla Studio and a cut file from Paige Evans.

Always Smile

Hey everyone, I'm back today with a new LO to share for Pretty Little Studio using the XOXO collection.  I went totally out of my comfort zone with this LO.  I dripped some Heidi Swapp color shine down my cardstock in multiple colors to create a rainbow effect.  Then I just added bits and pieces in coordinating colors.  It was really such a fun and easy LO to do!

Sweet Blooms

Hey everyone, did you know that's there's a new Scrapbook kit club in town....and it's Canadian!  That's right!  Papers and Beyond is based out of Calgary AB.  So all you Canadians who have always wanted to join a kit club but were scared of customs fees can finally get a beautiful kit delivered to you every month!

I was given the sweet blooms kit to work with last month.  This kit features the Pink Paislee Auburn Lane and Kaisercraft Fleur collections.  Here's what I came up with:

This was a really simple and quick LO. I cut out a file from JustNick studio in black and backed it with pattern paper. I really like that this kit included a lot of black elements. I always feel like my LO's need a little bit of black.

Pink is my favorite color to scrapbook with so I absolutely needed the Sweet Blooms kit! I backed a cut file from JustNick studio with some pretty pinks and florals and then stitched around it just to make it pop more. The little wood embellishments were the perfect finishing touch!

I can't believe my sweet little girl is already 14 years old. She's just 3 in this photo! I used 2 cut files from Paper Issues to create a wreath and then used a punch to add a few more butterflies. A simple ring of stitching tied it all together.
