Super Awesome You

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for A Flair For Buttons using 3 bright and bold flair buttons. They coordinated perfectly with the Field Trip Collection from Shimelle.

I think red embellishments are my favorite.  This all boy flair was perfect to document my son learning to ride a bike without training wheels.  He was only 4 years old!

I love to add flair buttons with words on them but I also like the ones with the simple designs like stars or hearts.  This one is so cute!

Beauty Comes From Within

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Echo Park using the All Girl collection.  ANyone who has a little girl in their life needs this collection.  It is so sweet, girly and pink!!!

Squares are my favorite shape to add to layouts.  I went a little crazy with this one.  I didn't really have a plan when I started cutting out all these squares but it all came together pretty fast.

After all the squares were cut I sewed each of them on my sewing machine.  I really love the texture it added to my layout!

Sometimes adding a simple repetitive shape can have a big effect.  No fancy tools needed for this layout.

I decided to keep these simple by using black and white papers with a touch of pink. I think this one is my favorite!

I then just added a few stickers and embellishments. I can't wait to be invited to a wedding so I have a reason to use these!

Summer Memories

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Simple Stories using the beautiful new Summer  Farmhouse collection.   There's something about this dark royal blue in this collection that just makes me happy.  I feel like this shade of blue goes with everything.  But then you add the red, yellow and teal and if just makes my heart happy!

When my kids were little, we would often do unplanned photo shoots. I would just grab my camera and take a bunch of photos, it's not that easy now that they are teenagers so I often go back through my older photos and find some gems.  I love this sweet one of my girl.  I was unsure about using the wooden title on the wood paper but I like that it created a soft look.

I cut up the Simple Pleasures paper and made little pinwheels with it.  They turned out so cute with the little enamel dot in the middle!

I then added a few phrase strips, stickers, a few pieces of ephemera and some stitching.

I love how the bright colors and florals look on the woodgrain paper!

The Story

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Pretty Little Studio using the Document Life collection. My son was always an outdoor kid. Didn't care much for video games, spent almost all his time outside. I snapped this photo of him while we were camping. I love this photo. It's so him!

I used some hexagons from the die cuts and some from the pattern paper. I added them randomly on my layout. I then added some words and stitching on them.

To finish the layout I added some star stickers that I popped up and some phrase strips.

Live in Wonder

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Cut To You using a Kit To You file and the February Hip Kit. This cut file is so gorgeous I may have to use it over and over!

I backed all the flowers of this cut file with the same multi colored paper. I love how even though the pattern repeats itself, it all looks different just because of the colors.

I then used a green paper to back up the leaves, because leave have to be green right?

I love how using a cut file can make such an elegant background!

Pool Party Invitations

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new project to share for Pebbles using the Fun & Sun collection. This collection has so many fun ephemera pieces, I knew I wanted to make something that would let me use a lot of them. I started off these invites with a card base from Lori Whitlock.

Once I had the base cut out, I just needed to choose some fun papers to create the background. I love all the bright and bold colors in this collection!

I then just choose some fun ephemera and layered them adding some pop dots on a few of them.

Happy

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Echo Park using the Oh Happy Day collection.  Have you ever fallen in love with a collection at first sight?  I did with this one.  I think it was the combination of florals and the pops of black.  It is simply beautiful!

This collection has a lot of tags and pennants. I knew I wanted to use them in a creative way so I decided to make kind of a banner across my page.

I added some machine stitching with black thread to tie it all together.

Look how gorgeous these colors are!

Easter Egg Hunt

Hey everyone, I'm here today sharing a new layout for Pretty Little Studio using the Color Me Happy collection. When I first saw this paper, I immediately thought of Easter eggs. Add all these beautiful bright colors and it was perfect for an Easter themed layout!

I cut out paper strips and stitched them on my cardstock. I also added some zig zag stitching just for fun!

I then finished the layout by adding some word strips and a few embellishments.

Love This

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Simple Stories using the Simple Vintage Garden District collection.  If you're like me and love to work with florals this collection is for you!  The pretty and soft floral patterns are perfect for any feminine project.

One of my favorite items in this collection is the big chipboard frames.  It's so easy to make a big impact on your layout just by adding one of these frames.

The final touches of this layout was just adding bits of ephemera and chipboard pieces.  It was hard to limit myself to just a few, they 're all so pretty!

This sweet black and white photo of my daughter was perfect for this collection.  Any photo can be made to look vintage just by printing it in black and white.

Vintage Beauty

Vintage Beauty layout by Michelle Gallant

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Echo Park
using the Farmhouse Market collection.  Anyone who knows me as a scrapbooker knows how much I love to use florals.  This collection not only has florals but everything about it screams feminine.  It's so very pretty!

I decided to get a little messy with this layout. It's not my usual style, but once in a while I like to try new things.  I created the background by using the vintage grid stencil and some gesso.  I added a little bit of watercolors too.

I then took out some butterfly punches and cut out a whole bunch of them.  I used a variety of sizes and pattern paper.  I added them randomly to my layout.

To finish off I added some little embellishments and word stickers.  I like how this layout turned out.  It was fun to try a new style of scrapbooking.
