Vacay Love

Hey everyone, I'm back here today with a new LO to share for Pebbles Inc using the beautiful Chasing Adventure collection. If you have a soft spot for florals like I do you are absolutely going to love this collection. The patterns have a fun tropical vibe, perfect for vacation and summer photos!

One of my favorite things to do is create backgrounds with cut files. I used a heart strip cut file from The Cut Shoppe and placed it in a repetitive pattern. I didn't want it to be too busy so I just used 3 different pattern papers.

Another of my new favorite things to do on a LO is to add stitching. It doesn't have to be a lot to make a big effect. Sometimes I use my sewing machine and sometimes I stitch by hand. I wanted to keep it subtle on my LO so I used white on the hearts and then I framed it with some light pink.

I like to stick to just a few main colors on my LO's. The pinks and greens went so well together and just screamed out summer to me. It was the perfect color palette to compliment this sweet photo of my daughter.

This makes me happy

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share for Pretty Little Studio using the Savannah Dreams collection and a cut file from Paige Evans.

I really loved this black and white stripe paper, I knew I wanted to use it as a background for my LO.

I love backing cut files with fun patterns and colors. This collection has a little bit of everything.

And of course I had to add lots of little phrases and ephemera. There is so much to choose from in this collection.

Collect Moments

Hey everyone, I'm back today sharing a new LO for The Cut Shoppe using the Social Butterfly cut file.  I used a single piece or pattern paper to back my butterflies.  I loved the watercolor effect of this paper from Vicki Boutin.  It was perfect to give a variety of colors to my butterflies.

I added some messy stitching to the butterflies just to make them stand out more.  The messy stitches may or may not have been on purpose.  LOL  Either was I really like how they came out.

For me it's all about the little details when I create a LO.  Stitching, a border around my LO, perfect sayings...I love when it all comes together perfectly!

You have my heart

Hi everyone, I'm here today sharing my very first LO as a design team member at Pebbles. Since it's Valentine's month, I decided to use the Loves Me collection for my first project. This collection is just so pretty with all the pinks and reds, just perfect for this sweet photo of my girl.

I started off this LO by cutting out a cut file from The Cut Shoppe on my Silhouette Cameo. I used white AC cardstock and backed it with pretty papers. I felt like I needed all the hearts on this page.

I recently purchased a sewing machine. I'll be honest, I was terrified at first because I had never used one. To my surprise it's so much easier to use than I expected! I stitched a simple line across all the hearts. I really love the effect that simple stitching added to my LO. It's all about the details right?

My favorite thing in a paper collection is florals. I can't get enough of them and this collection doesn't disappoint! It is all so very pretty!

Sweet treats

Hey everyone, today I'm sharing a new LO  for A Flair for Buttons using some "sweet" flair and the Yellow Door collection from Fancy Pants Designs.  I fussy cut the scallop strips and layered them to create a background.  Then I ran them through my sewing machine.

Is there anything better than ice cream?  Nope, I don't think so.  This flair button had the perfect saying!

The perfect finishing touch was this little ice cream flair.

I'm a guest for Paige Evans cut files!

Hi everyone, I'm super excited to be a guest for Paige Evans cut files this month!  I absolutely love working with cut files.  I used them on almost all my LO's.

For my first LO I used the Cut and Fold Hearts Heart file and the Pick Me Up collection.  It was my first time using a cut and fold cut file and it was so much fun.  I really love the dimension it added to my LO.

After I had cut and folded all the hearts, I stitched a single strip or white thread on each of them just to make them stand out more.  It also helped to keep them folded flat.

For my title and journaling I used a song by Luke Combs.  It describes my daughter really well.

On my next LO I used 2 cut files (Leaf Wreath & Butterfly Cluster), along with the Whimsical collection.  By layering these 2 cut files it created the whole background for my LO.  I really didn't need to do much else to it.

I also layered the butterflies and added some zig zag stitching to them.  I love how they turned out.

Overall this was a really quick and easy LO.  The cut files did all the work.  I love this kid of mine.  She's so much fun!

Love You So Much

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share using the Savannah Dreams collection. This week we're sharing Valentine's/Love themed projects. I used a cut file from Paper Issues and a photo of my daughter when she was just a tiny little girl. I love the new 12x12 papers!

This collection has the best ephemera! Butterflies and clouds? Yes please! I added a bit of stitching on the bottom of each cluster.

Wonder Woman

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share for The Cut Shoppe using the Star Spangled cut file.  I had these fun photos of my daughter dressed as Wonder Woman on Halloween and I wanted a cut file with stars.  I backed it with papers from the Land That I Love Collection from Pebbles.

I really love how the red and blue contrasts with the white cut file.

I added some silver stars and thread because I needed some shine.

I had a lot of fun with this LO.  This cut file was just perfect for my photos!
