Canada Day Pool Party

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share for Pebbles using the Oh Summertime collection. This fun summer collection is absolutely perfect for all your summer photos.

Canada Day is coming up in a few days so I decided to create a LO using these sweet photos of my son on Canada Day when he was just in kindergarten. Cherish every moment because time goes by so very fast!

I used a cut file from The Cut Shoppe and just backed some of the pieces with red pattern paper. I then stitched the cut file into place.

See this adorable flamingo? It has sequins that move when you shake it. I love these shaker stickers, they are so much fun!

There is so much ephemera in this collection, it was hard to just choose a few pieces for my LO!

Good Vibes

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share for Pretty Little Studio using the Bohemian Dreams collection. If you haven't purchased this collection yet go get it now! It is absolutely a must have. The bright colors and fun patterns are so fun to play with!

To create my background I created a starburst effect by using multiple pattern papers. I love how these bright colors look on the white background.

I then stitched around all the pieces with different colors of thread. I also added some fun stitching around my LO to create a frame. I find when you create a busy background like this you really don't need to add a lot of embellishments. Just a few die cuts and stickers was all this needed.

Hockey Smile

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share for The Cut Shoppe using the All The Angles cut file and the Horizon collection from Paige Evans.   I really love a cut file that just begs to be stitched.  This one in particular looked like a quilt to me so I couldn't wait to put my sewing machine to work!

One of the things I love about a cut file like this is that you can just use one piece of paper to back it and it looks like it was a lot of work. lol

Once I started stitching, I quickly realized my stitching skills weren't good enough to do all these rows perfectly straight, so I just went with it and I kinda like that they're not perfect.  Make it look more like a quilt!

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share.  I just love summer themed LO's. I think it's the florals that make me happy the most.  This new collection Splendor from My Mind's Eye is full of floral and pretty colors.

I love to take photos in the summer.  There are so many more possibilities when you're outside.  Lucky for me, my girl is always a good sport!

I love the neutral color of this flair button.  It would work for any LO!

Vacation Paradise

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share for Pebbles using the fun Summertime collection. If you're anything like me, you probably take so much more photos in the summer. Because of this I like to stock up on summer collections so I can keep scrapping these photos once the cold weather gets here.

I like to start off my LO's with a white background. By doing this I can choose any pattern papers and embellishments I like and it will match.

We are lucky to have a summer cottage in beautiful Prince Edward Island. We are just minutes away from these beautiful red sand beaches.

I really liked all the phrase ephemera in this collection so I decided to make them the main part of my LO. I just picked out some of my favorites and placed them horizontally on my LO to create a background.

Don't you love these blue phrase thickers? I love anything blue!

Then I had to add a little bit of stitching and thread to finish off my LO. I even added a little stitching on the washi strips!

The end result was a fun and quick LO!

Boy Stuff

Hey everyone, I'm back today with a new LO to share using the Oh Boy cut file and the Cocoa Vanilla Boys Rule collection.  I have to admit I usually find girl LO's much easier to make than boy LO's.  However this one came together really fast.  I started off by cutting out and backing my title piece with pattern paper.

I love how easy it is to make the title the focus of your LO with a cut file.

Then I just added some embellishments and went crazy with my sewing machine.  It was a fun LO to make!

Hope & Dream

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share using the Shine Bright collection and a cut file from Paige Evans. This collection is absolutely stunning. It's full of soft pretty florals, and I always love a collection with shades of blue!

This LO came together quickly. I just stitched around the cut file and added some flowers clusters in 3 spots around it.

These little quotes were the perfect finishing touch for my LO!
