Guestbook & Card

Hey everyone, I'm here today sharing a new project for Echo Park using the Our Wedding collection.  Do you ever get immediate inspiration when you see just one item from a collection?  That's what happened to me when I looked through this one.  As soon as I saw the ephemera pieces that said "The Guestbook", I knew I had to make one!

For the inside of the guestbook, I added the 4x6 journaling cards as well as lots of plain pages using the coordinating solids so there's lots of room for signatures.  I used the wood paper as the front and back covers and added some metal rings to hold it together.

I also made a card with this collection.  The 3x4  journaling cards are perfect to make quick and easy cards.  I really like this one with the couple holding hands.   I then just added a few pieces of ephemera, a sticker and some stitching!

I really like how this super simple project turned out!

Football pennants

Hey everyone, I'm  here today sharing a new project for Echo Park using the Football collection.  Now I'm not gonna lie, as a Canadian, hockey is my sport, but I always enjoy seeing how much people love their football.  Especially all the fun superbowl parties!  So I decided to do some superbowl party decorations.

I cut out 6 large triangles to create the bases and used the stickers and ephemera to embellish them.

I then glued them to paper straws I had in my stash.  These cute little decorations are sure to be a fun add on to any superbowl party!

These were so much fun to make, I just might have to throw a superbowl party!

Farm Fresh

Hey everyone, I'm here today sharing a new layout for Echo Park with the Farm to Table collection and an Echo Park cut file.  This layout is not my usual style but I had so much fun making it!

I started off with this barn cut file.  I had to use this gorgeous red paper and this cut file was perfect for it!

This chicken was the perfect size to fit behind my window.  The title was also a perfect fit!  I added a sun and stitched clouds to fill the background.

We visited a farm with baby goats last year.  Both me and my daughter fell in love with them.  Someday I will have one!  I love the animal stickers in this collection!  So cute!

This was a fun and easy layout!  Sometimes it's nice to create out of your comfort zone!

Gift and Treat Bags

Hey everyone, I'm here today sharing a new project for Echo Park using the Magical Birthday Boy collection.  I have lots of Disney photos I could have used to make a layout with this collection but I wanted to do something else to show how much fun this collection is!

I first created little gift bags by using a cut file from Lori Whitlock.  I used a kraft color background to make them look like paper bags and then I embellished.

I used pattern paper, stickers and ephemera to add color and dimension to the bags.  I layered some stickers and popped them up with foam squares.

I finished off the gift bags by adding a bit of twine on the handles.

For the little treat bags, I filled some small ziplock bags with red, black, and yellow jellybeans.  I used a border punch to create the edge of the tag and I folded it over the plastic bag.  I then added a few little embellishments.  What kid wouldn't like a Disney themed party right?

Dreamer

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for A Flair For Buttons.  I love the color pink, and I love it even more when it's matched with black and white!  I used the 5th and Monaco collection from Pink Paislee with some pretty matching flairs from the store!

These heart flairs are so cute and they come in all the colors!  Perfect for any type of project!

Black script flairs are my all time favorite.  They match with everything!

Happy Spring

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new layout to share for Simple Stories using the Bunnies & Bloom collection.  I am so in love with this collection!  These soft pastel colors are so very pretty!  I cannot wait to create with this one again!

I used a rainbow cut file from The Cut Shoppe, I like the softness of it compared to the usual bright rainbows.  I created little clusters of embellishments and added a bunch of decorative brads to the rainbow!

These foam stickers make it so easy to add a title that adds a big impact on the layout!  I also added some word and phrase stickers.

Look at this sweet little face!  I can't believe she will be 17 next month.  I'm so glad I always took a lot of photos of my kids.

Birthday Girl

Hey everyone, I'm here today sharing a new layout to share for Echo Park using the Magical Birthday Girl collection. If you have a little princess in your life you will need this collection.  It is just such a sweet collection!

I made a grid style layout by using the 3x4 journaling cards.  This is a simple way to use up those cards if you don't do pocket pages.  I added some black zig zag stitching on a few places.

For the title I used the Birthday sticker from the element stickers page and I cut out the word girl using the birthday girl flags die set.

How sweet is this little face??  Oh how I miss baby teeth!  This is a photo from her 5th birthday, we had a princess themed party!

I love all this pink!!

Coffee cup and cards

Hey everyone, I'm here today sharing a new project for Echo Park using the Coffee and Friends collection. My project started off when I found some cute coffee cup cut files in the Silhouette store.  I first made the coffee cup and then I made a couple of matching cards.

I really love the sweet pastel colors of this collection.  For those of you who know my style, florals are definitely my thing!

These cards were quick to make and with so many sweet pieces of ephemera in this collection, I might actually make a few more!

This would also make a cute gift set to give to someone!
