A taste of summer

Hey everyone, I'm back today with a new LO to share using the Summertime collection. This collection is absolutely perfect for your summer photos. It is full of fun patterns and bright colors.

When I saw this collection had a whole 12x12 sheet of little square icons, I knew I had to use them in a fun way. I picked out a few of my favorites and added the striped green paper in between to create a background.

I then stitched all the green squares to add some texture to my LO. I also added some stitching around my LO to create a frame.

I wanted the focus of this LO to be on the watermelon. I found this cute cut file at Paper Issues. I backed it with papers from this collection. I love how it turned out!

Peace, Love & Happiness

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share using the Bohemian Dreams collection and a cut file from Paige Evans. I absolutely love the colors in this new collection!

I fussy cut these sweet little flower and just placed them on top of my cut file. They were almost a perfect fit!

I really kept the design of this LO simple. Just a few embellishments and some fun stitching is all it needed!

The good stuff

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share for The Cut Shoppe using the Floral Wreath cut file and the Vicki Boutin Kaleidoscope collection.

I love cutting my cut files in white cardstock.  You can't go wrong with white, it matches everything.   I sometimes cut a lot of them in advance and take them to crops with me.  I love the bright colors in this collection and thought it would be fun to back these flowers with a bold stripped pattern.

I also added a bit of stitching to a few flower centers, just for fun!

Love you tons

Hey everyone, I'm here today sharing a new LO for Pretty Little Studio using the Shine Bright collection and a cut file from Paige Evans. I fell in love with this collection when I saw all the beautiful shades of blue in it.

I love working with a white background. It's like starting with a fresh canvas. I backed the title with the papers and then I did a chain link stitch around the letters. I'm not going to lie, this stitching technique takes some time but the effect is so pretty!

I then just added a few embellishments and ink splatters to finish my LO.

Stay Shady

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share for The Cut Shoppe using the Follow Your Heart file and the Horizon collection from Paige Evans.

These silly photos of my daughter are so much fun to scrap, I wanted the whole LO to have a fun feel so I added lots of colors and patterns to back my cut file.  I then ran a row of stitching on each section.  The background was so colorful I only added a few embellishments so it wouldn't be too busy.

Mother's Day cards

Hey everyone, Michelle here today sharing some easy Mother's Day Cards. I don't make cards very often but when I do I usually do them 3D or interactive.

I purchased some Lori Whitlock cut files from the Silhouette store to make these cards. Although it took a while to cut out all the pieces, they were really easy to assemble and the end product turned out really cute!

I think mason jars are so cute. Most of the papers I used are from the Chasing Adventure or Loves Me collections.

Here's a closer look at the flowers. With so many pretty papers in these collections the possibilities were endless!

And one of my favorite things about these cards is that they fold flat so I can put them in an envelope! Cute right?
