Sweet Boy

Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a new LO!  Lately I've been scrapping a lot of older photos os my son.  He just turned 16 and I'm having a bit of a hard time accepting how fast he is growing.  I look at this sweet little face and it seems like yesterday.  I used the Dream Big collection and a cut file from Paper Issues.  This collection is all about soft pastels.  I decided to use just the blues and yellows to create more of a boyish look.

This phrase says it all!

I really love how everything in these collections coordinate so well together.

Adventure

Hey everyone, I'm back today with a fun new LO to share.  There's something about triangles that just screams boy LO to me.  I'm not sure what it is but they just seem to go together.  I used the Triangle Geo Background cut file and backed it with papers from the My Mind's Eye Wander collection.

Backing backgrounds with pattern paper is definitely my favorite technique with cut files.

I really like the yellow and green in the white cut file.

Dream Big

Hey everyone, I'm back today with a new LO to share.  A while back I bought a speech bubble punch and I could never figure out what to do with it so I decided to just go for it and see what happened.  This is what I came up with.  I used the Dream Big collection.

I mostly used the heart stickers to embellish.

Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a new LO to share.  I recently bought myself a pair of fringe scissors.  I wasn't really sure what to do with them so they had just been sitting on my desk for a while.   So I just decided to go for it.  No LO plan, just me and my scissors.  This ended up being one of the fasted LO's I've ever made.  Once I had the strips cut out all that was left was a little fussy cutting and embellishing.  I used a variety of Dear Lizzy papers.

This title is so perfect for my daughter.  This girl shows no fear.   Plays hockey in a boy's league, always willing to try anything, and never afraid to just be herself!

These yellow flair buttons were just the perfect shade for my LO!

Heart ones are my favorite!

Happy Girls

Hey everyone, I'm back today with a new LO to share!  Someone recently asked me if I found it difficult working with 8x8 papers instead of 12x12.  My answer was absolutely not.  I hardly every use a piece of 12x12 paper without cutting it down.  And on the rare occasion where I feel like a 12x12 is needed, I just improvise.  On this LO I just glued 2 pieces of the 8x8 next to each other.  You could never tell that strip isn't from a 12x12 paper!  A Beautiful Day is such a beautiful collection.  I have really enjoyed working with it!

These acrylic words are the best!   It makes it so easy for titles!

Hey everyone, I'm back today with a new LO to share for A Flair For Buttons.  I did this LO a few weeks ago at a crop and it was just one of those LO's that came together really fast.  I actually had my LO done and I felt like it was missing something.  I realized I hadn't added any flair buttons!  Shocker!  I always use flair!  So I dug through my stash and found this perfect color button from the Just Hearts 2 set!

Sometimes all you need is that one little thing to finish off a LO.  For me that's always a flair button!  Or 2, or 3.....

Sweet shades

Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a new LO to share.  Don't you just love it when a LO falls into place easily.  This is literally what happened with this one.  I took out the With All My Heart collection and emptied out the pack of flower die cuts on my cardstock.  Then I looked at that big cluster of flowers and thought hey that kinda looks good.  LOL  So I went with it and this is how it ended up!

I just love these little phrase tags!

Sixteen

Hey everyone, I'm back today with a new LO using 2 sets of cut files.  For my title I used the Age is a number file, and then I used the Basic Banner file to create the banner on top of my LO.  I used the Pebbles Happy Hooray collection

My son turned 16 in January and I'm still a bit in denial over it.  I have no idea how that happened.  Make sure to hold on to your little ones because time goes way too fast!
