Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a new LO to share.  I'm kinda funny with my flair buttons, sometimes I feel like my LO's just need that one button to complete it and then sometimes I think it needs 5!  LOL  With this wreath design it was so easy to add 5!  I just love the height and texture they add to my LO's!  I used the Doodlebug Hello collection. 

Let's take a closer look at those buttons, I really could have used any of the ones in my stash!

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share for Pretty LIttle Studio using the It's Your Birthday collection.  This collection is just so pretty!  When I ordered it, there was this one paper that really called out to me.  Paper 27 had these awesome circles and I knew I had to punch them out and use them somehow on my LO.  I created the background with some gelatos just so my circles would show better. 

One little strip of stitching on each circle finished them perfectly!

I then just added a few little bits and pieces and I was done.

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share using the A Beautiful Day collection.   Grid layouts are such a fun and easy way to do a quick LO.  It's all about layers and adding the perfect embellishments.  I took these photos of my daughter last fall.  I am so very lucky to have such a photogenic child.

Flair buttons, leaves and acrylic pieces!!  All my favorites in one collection!

Sometimes it's all about adding that perfect final touch!  Love these cork pieces!  I'm such an embellishment junkie!!

Hey everyone, I'm back today with a new LO to share for Pretty Little Studio using the XOXO collection.  The first thing that usually attracts me to a paper collection is color.  There's just something about lime green that speaks to me.  This lime green with the pinks is just magic!  I decided to just use the one paper to back the cut file so it wouldn't be too busy.  Cut file is from Paige Evans.

Those little hearts were perfect as my flower centers!

I need to add those little tags on all my LO's.  Aren't they the cutest thing?

Hey everyone, Michelle here today with a new LO featuring some fun summer themed flair buttons! This LO came together really fast. I used the Poolside collection from Fancy Pants. This LO was really all about the embellishments. No techniques or overthinking, just having fun with it.

Hey everyone, I'm here today with a new LO to share using the Ain't Life Grand collection.  I love a good boy collection and this one is perfect.  I love the fun patterns and colors.  Perfect for my teen boy!  I used a cut file from Paige Evans to create this pretty background.  Who says you can't use pink on a boy LO?

I only used one sheet of paper to back the hearts from my cut file.  I absolutely love how this looks.

This collection really does have the perfect little embellishments to finish off my LO!

I'm a guest designer at Pebbles Inc!

Hey everyone, I'm so happy to be a guest designer at Pebbles this month!  I am such a big fan of Pebbles!!  Today I'm going to be sharing 2 layouts I've made with the Land That I Love collection.  I was so happy to be given this collection to work with.  Red, white and blue...yes please!!  For those of you who don't know me, I am Canadian.  You may be thinking how is a Canadian going to work with this collection...let me show you how versatile it is!

My first LO was inspired by the pretty flowers on the Patriotic Blossoms paper.  I knew as soon as I saw it that I needed to fussy cut those flowers.  So a few hours later (lol), I had the whole 12x12 paper fussy cut!  I didn't want to waste any of those flowers so they all went on my layout.

Here's a closer look at all the dimension those flowers added to my layout. I added some foam squares on some of them to make them pop more.

After all those flowers I really didn't need to do much more to my LO.  A title, journaling, some stitching, a few other embellishments and I was done.

My next layout took a bit more time to make.  Well, a lot more time.  I love the look of stitching on layouts but I don't have a sewing machine so I have to hand stitch.  It probably took me about 5 hours to stitch these circles but I'm so happy I did it!  I used a cut file from Paige Taylor Evans and backed the stars with pattern paper.  I love how this layout feels so happy and festive!  I modified the title from the thickers so it would say First of July instead of Fourth.  

Here's a close up of the stitching.  I was up until 2:00am stitching this.  Once I started I didn't want to stop!  lol

These 3D stars were my absolute favorite thing in this collection.  I knew I had to add a few of them on my layout!

So now I've showed you how to use this collection on everyday layouts and even Canada Day layouts.  I hope I've inspired you to go out and get this collection!
